Haining Wang is an artist born in New York who works in Beijing and London. She received a B.A. from Yale University in Ethics, Politics, and Economics in 2016 and an M.A. from the Royal College of Art in Contemporary Art Practice in 2023. She previously worked in investment banking at Morgan Stanley and private equity investing at Temasek, and as an advisor on a skincare start-up. 
 

Drawing from her experience in the finance industry, Haining’s work considers the politics of power, hierarchy, intimacy and desire in the contexts of global capitalism. She works across mediums including sculpture, installation, and film.
